I really seem to have contracted the clumsiness virus (well, at least it’s not EHEC), because after slipping on the stairs and spraining my ankle on Saturday, I managed to bump into and break an open window today, because I had forgotten it was open. I have never broken a window so far, not even when I was a kid.
I’m okay, except for a small cut on my palm, but one pane of the double pane window is history. Luckily, it was just a small hall window. I’m still stunned that it shattered so easily, because windows should be sturdier, but then it wasn’t a safety glass or anything like that. Still that such a fairly light bump (from trying to catch my blance, as far as I can remember), could break it.
Ack. Be well! May good movement mojo be ever with you!
I should point out that since my right eye began starting iffy I regularly misjudge corners or openness of doors by a hair and tend to scrape myself.
Thanks.
